Teepee

W e use experienced speakers and other companies to inspire American Indians to remember who they are and help them to find balance in their lives through the use of College Seminars, Adult/Community Seminars, Youth Seminars, and Retreats.

To find out how you can be a part of this vision, how to register for an event, or for more information, please contact us.

college seminars

We currently offer two workshops for college-bound or current college students.

The first one offered is a workshop to encourage youth to attend college once they complete high school. We show why additional education is so important today and provide strategies for finding success while transitioning into college.

The second workshop is for those currently attending college. The focus is on maintaining students' enthusiasm for class work, in addition to strategies for passing difficult courses, and meeting and exceeding their goals.

adult/community seminars

Our desire is to share these concepts, not only with one segment of the community, but with all of the American Indian community. We offer adult workshops which will cover some of the same topics as the youth seminars but targeted towards for an adult audience.

We also offer family-based workshops that bring unity within the family structure by learning together and finding ways to implement that knowledge in our homes.

youth seminars

These seminars consist of fun, hands-on workshops that introduce important and often serious topics from an Indian perspective. The four underlying themes of the seminars are:

  • Know who you are.
Each person is unique. You have a path of your own to walk, and you are the equal of your peers. We will help you discover your worth and your unique vision for your life.
  • Know who you want to be.
Education truly is the key that unlocks the doors of opportunity in our society today. We encourage you to continue on with their education and to find ways to succeed in a system that often seems stacked against you.
  • Know who can guide you.
Mentors are people who know how to determine where you are in your growth, see where you want to go, and help make a plan to get there. Mentors are a vital part of success in business and life today, yet most youths don't know how to find them. We will help.
  • Know where you come from.
The central theme is the realization that each youth in these seminars is Indian. To find yourself also means coming to a sense of peace about your heritage. We use tribal stories and Native leaders to illustrate these points, along with encouraging youth to learn their stories, learn their languages, and find pride in their heritage.
